Years of Experience: 24 years of experience, 14 as an anchor/reporter in TV news,10 years at the executive level of elite healthcare organizations.

Skill Set: Unique ability to define a narrative for a company or organization that resonates across all communications channels. Talent for creating compelling content to engage, excite and inspire.

Signature Achievement: Brainstormed the idea to host on the Sher website a national video contest, the I Believe Video Journal Project. I Believe sparked record engagement on social channels, increased web traffic dramatically (222%) and led to national news coverage on CNN and Time. Most significantly I Believe is the subject of a documentary film by an Academy-Award nominated filmmaker. In November of 2015, I was interviewed about I Believe by the New York Times.

Signature Achievement: As Founding Editor of “Breakthrough Magazine,” NVCI’s signature communications piece, I transformed a simple 4-page brochure into an award-winning 40-page magazine, which was named Best External Magazine by National Non-Profit Awards.

Dr. Geoffrey Sher/Founder and Executive Medical Director of Sher Institute – A brilliant doctor who is a pioneer in his field, a forward-thinking entrepreneur, a tireless leader, a passionate advocate and someone who truly cares about his patients. Dr. Sher inspires me to keep thinking outside the box and to be willing to try new ideas even if they seem crazy at the time.

Mitch Albom/Best-selling Author and Former Sports Journalist – My love of journalism began by reading Mitch Albom’s column when I was at the University of Michigan. Albom used humor and emotion to get to the heart of the story. I later had an internship with him. His advice for me – “lighten up.”

Heroes – Patients I worked with at Nevada Cancer Institute and Sher Institute inspired me with their courage and strength. Cancer patients who in spite of their grave diagnosis remained hopeful and kind; At Sher Institute, I worked with couples so desperate to become parents they are willing to endure heartache and loss to persevere.

Nomad –  During my television news career, I lived and worked in seven cities in 10 years. Stops include: Miami, Steubenville, Burlington, Portland, Utica, Grand Rapids and Las Vegas.

Pioneer: First ever female sportscaster in Vermont and Maine.

TV highlights: Interviewing Roger Clemens live at Fenway Park. Derek Jeter and Joe Torre at Yankee Stadium, covering Oscar De La Hoya fights, being called out by Bill Parcells at a Patriots press conference, live interviews with gentleman such as Hall of Fame RB Walter Payton, Jim Boeheim and countless others.

Leisure Time: When not working, I am raising three strong willed little people with my husband David, reading all genres but especially historical fiction and working out but not too hard.
