Educational Seminars

An effective way to spread your message and attract new customers to your brand is to host patient education seminars to reach and teach prospective patients about treatment options. These seminars also position you as the expert and give you the opportunity to interact with your community on an intimate basis.

Sher Fertility Institute

The Stark Media Strategies team helped Sher Fertility Communications created and implemented more than 50 patient education seminars held around the country, in cities that were directly served by Sher clinics, as well as markets that drove patients to clinics, attracting more than 15,000 prospective patients.

There was also a philanthropic component to the seminars. At each seminar, Sher Fertility donates an IVF cycle. Many of these free IVF winners later had babies with the help of Sher doctors. These seminars also created new patients. Each seminar resulted in an average of 20-30 new IVF patients.

Lisa Stark wrote a well-received article for David Magazine about Sher Fertility’s philanthropic efforts, and seminars in Las Vegas, and its impact on those who attended.

Abrams Eye Institute

Stark Media Strategies has planned and executed a series of seminars for Dr. Jack Abrams and the Abrams Eye Institute. These seminars have introduced numerous new patients to the practice, while educating them on the cutting-edge technology and world-class patient care provided by the practice.

Stark Media also helped to create, plan and implement a Free Kids Clinic at Abrams Eye Institute. Timed to coincide with the start of the school year, Abrams Eye Kids Clinic donated free eye exams and glasses to Clark County Kids.

Dr. Abrams donated free eye exams and free glasses to Clark County kids before the start of school. One family had four sisters who all needed glasses.

In this blog post Stark Media explains how philanthropic programs are a win-win proposition for both doctors and patients.
